Working It Out Together: Mediation

Thursday, May 18, 2017, 6–8pm this workshop participants will learn about Special Education Mediation and the Office of Dispute Resolution.  Mediation is a voluntary process that brings people together to resolve their disagreements.  A mediator helps parents and schools communicate with each other, so that everyone has an opportunity to express concerns and offer solutions.  The goal is finding a solution that meets the educational needs of the child.
