Join the Western New York Land conservancy and WNY Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (PRISM) for the Stella Niagara Workday.

With 29-acres and over a quarter-mile of shoreline, the Stella Niagara Preserve is
the largest privately-owned, undeveloped tract of land along the entire length of the
Niagara River. Stella is incredibly scenic, and is one of our region’s most ecologically and
historically important places. Restoration efforts have been taking place at Stella over the
past few years, but more work is needed.

The WNY PRISM Crew will be out removing invasive shrub species from the property and
they need your help to cut and pile the shrubs. Loppers, gloves, bug spray and instruction
will be provided, but volunteers should come prepared to work by bringing water and
wearing appropriate clothing (long pants, boots, hat). Please meet in the southwest corner of the Lewiston Senior Center parking lot.
