Savannah & The Kings : http://www.savannahkingmusic.com/

Savannah began her musical pursuit at an early age and discovered her gift of storytelling through songs – songs whose lyrics have been described as deep and well beyond her years. By honing her live sound, Savannah brings her independent alternative folk sound at its very best to every performance. In addition to headlining her own shows, Savannah has opened the show for many artists such as Emmylou Harris, 10,000 Maniacs, Harpeth Rising, Sera Cahoone, Field Report, and award-winning Canadian country music singer-songwriter Ryan Cook, as well as performing with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Savannah has released three EP’s of all original music: Throwing Stones (2010), She Sends Her Love (2012) **, and The Acoustic Collection (2013). All are available on iTunes, Amazon, and throughSavannahKingMusic.com. Although Savannah started her career as a solo acoustic act, she now enjoys performing with her band – Mark Bamann (lead guitar), Loren Metzger (drums), and Scott Gergelis (bass). The band's first full length studio album "Bold & Unsteady", was released in April 2015. The album was met with glowing reviews from critics:

In May 2014, Savannah had the honor of becoming a Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Songwriting Competition Finalist where she flew to Kerrville, TX to perform. By fall of the same year she started touring with two time platinum selling artists The 10,000 Maniacs as an opening act, harmony vocalist, and rhythm guitarist. The conclusion of 2014 saw Savannah graduating from SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor’s degree in Music Industry.

Savannah & The Kings have continued to release new material through the introduction of The Sunday Song Project: A Youtube video series recorded live, on-location throughout some of the most beautiful locations in WNY. A new video is released every Sunday at 12pm EST.

“It’s far too early to tell you what I hope to accomplish in my lifetime. I can tell you that I aspire to never stop experimenting, finding new directions, meeting new people, and learning. I thoroughly believe that you can learn something from every single person you meet. Through my songwriting, I am a storyteller – not just my stories, but the stories of the forgotten . . . because there are so many stories to tell.” – Savannah King

""Bold & Unsteady," which marries King's stellar alt-pop songcraft - think Sarah McLachlan with more of an edge - to supple, subtle and beautifully orchestrated contributions from her new band..."
-Jeff Miers, The Buffalo News

"Touches of Jazz (courtesy of Gergelis' outstanding upright bass playing), pop, folk and indie rock meld together for a cohesive sound. No self-indulgent doodling, no gimmicks, no unnecessary window dressings among the arrangements."
-Bob Silvestri, BestOfWNY.com

"When Buffalo native and SUNY Fredonia State grad Savannah King opened for Emmylou Harris last September in Kleinhans, she gave locals a taste of what she could do with just a stool, microphone and an acoustic guitar. Varied tempos on emotive originals. Vocals reminiscent of nearby Canadian songstresses like Basia Bulat, and the courage and skill to pull off a moving cover of the Beatles’ “I’ve Just Seen A Face” inside a beautiful concert hall. Now with a full band to back her already seasoned live presence—and the new album “Bold and Unsteady”—the crimson-locked singer/songwriter is ready to take her next sonic steps . . ."
