This is a fundraiser for the Black Rock Historical Society that you won't want to miss!
Program includes:
Presentation by Rick Falkowski, Music and Entertainment Historian, founder of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and author of the book History of Buffalo Music & Entertainment. He will take us back to the beginning of Buffalo’s entertainment history, starting at Canal Street to early theaters, concert halls, vaudeville houses, big band nightclubs and music prior to the advent of Rock N Roll. Also included will be information on area radio stations, songwriters, musicians and entertainers, along with many historic photos of Buffalo’s entertainment heritage.

The Heenan Brothers - Erie Canal Blues
The Heenan Brothers consist of: Rick Heenan, vocals and guitar; Rick Bauer, mandolin and vocals; Ken (Rickenbacker)Johnson on bass and lap steel and Bob (Rickybobby) Savoy playing harmonica and back-up vocals.
Joe Giambra Jazz Quartet – 1950’s & 60’s Jazz
Giambra is a Buffalo icon to many generations. He is a Buffalo history archivist, a wordsmith, and raconteur.
Big Wheelie – 1950 & 60’s Music
Chuck “Big Wheelie” has been called the Prince of Rock & Roll and has taken the stage with many star performers, including Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison and Little Richard.
