The 5th annual West Side Holiday Celebration- Peace, Love, & Grant Street will be happening on Thursday, December 1 from 4pm-8pm. The event will feature many of the shops, restaurants, and services we have on Grant Street.

On December 1st, Grant Street will be hopping with pop-up marketplace, food trucks (in front of Chi-Chis Hardware 375 Grant St), holiday arts and crafts, and an appearance by Santa’s elves!

What to look for:

Grant & Potomac (outside) -Live rock band, petting zoo (sponsored by West Side Business & Tax Payers), roasting chestnuts on an open fire, & face painting  

CAC (Buffalo State Community Academic Center) 214 Grant St- The CAC is celebrating its fifth anniversary by making service projects to be donated to Buffalo's newcomer refugee families. Stop in for their open house and learn more about their current work and accomplishments.

West Side Bazaar 25 Grant St- Two special performances:

 530 pm Buffalo String Works : BSW aims to benefit an under-served population on Buffalo's west side by providing a creative outlet for children searching for a sense of belonging in their new home. They serve a community of that is comprised of recently-displaced families from all over the globe, thus BSW recognizes the significance of music as a universal language.

630 pm La Marimba Buffalo performed by Tiffany Nicely, Gabriel Gutierrez, and Ringo Brill. Enjoy traditional marimba music of Southern Mexico.

 Gypsy Parlor 376 Grant St- after party, karaoke will begin at 9 pm
