Going ten years strong, This annual event started in the back of Rust Belt Books when it was on Allen Street. In a humble gathering, the festivities saw Chris Standart direct a stage reading of Christopher Durang's hysterical FOR WHOM THE SOUTHERN BELLE TOLLS, an over-the-top (of course) parody of Tennessee Williams' THE GLASS MENAGERIE, as well as a reading of GUMBO YA YA, which has become a traditional part of the evening. Since those beginnings, the steadily growing event has included musical acts like DOCTOR JAZZ AND THE JAZZBUGS, WHISKEY REVERB, DICK WHISKEY, THE DISTILLERY BOYS and BLACK ROCK ZYDECO.

This year's party will feature the slick sounds of CHILD OF FOLLY, Billy Horn & Rosemarie Lorenti of Billy Draws Two, and Honky piano vibes of Conrad and plenty of gumbo, rice 'n' beans and traditional hurricanes to get the good times rollin'.

Spend an afternoon with ART/WNY and celebrate carnival!
