This Riverworks Murder Mystery is based on real life events that tore Buffalo apart in 1899. In that year downtrodden Irish grain scoopers went on a protracted and violent strike. Join us for an interactive murder mystery that takes you into the former GLF grain elevator and back in time! Dinner is offered at RiverWorks and the action takes place inside the grain silo adjacent to the RiverWorks complex.

Two hour interactive ‘Who Done it’ mystery based on historic events that rocked Buffalo’s waterfront. Dinner and performance offered each Saturday evening at 6:00pm through September 17.

You question the suspects, gather clues and solve the crime-prizes for the best detective team! See the inside of the GLF silo–this is the first time this grain elevator is open to the public in 70 years

Tickets are $55 per person (plus tax, credit card & processing fee) and include the performance and buffet dinner. For more information on the event including menu, pricing and other important details, click here to download a brochure.  The grain elevator is completely safe and accessible via a set of six stairs, but we discourage wearing open-toed shoes.  Ticket sales are online only.

This is a unique murder mystery because it is based on real life events, and it transpires where those events happened–at the grain silos along Buffalo’s waterfront. If you’re looking for an authentic Buffalo based murder mystery, then The Great Mill Murder is for you.
