Join Explore Buffalo at the beginning of autumn to tour home interiors in the neighborhood surrounding one of Buffalo's magnificent Olmsted circles, Colonial Circle. Colonial Circle is surrounded by beautiful streets of historic homes representing a range of architectural styles that will be featured as part of this tour, including Lafayette Avenue, Richmond Avenue, and Bidwell Parkway. A variety of these wonderful homes will be open for tour patrons to tour from 1 to 5 PM on Saturday, September 28. 

The tour headquarters is St. John's-Grace Episcopal Church at 51 Colonial Circle. The stunning interior of this church built in 1927, with its beautiful stained glass windows, will be open for tour guests to tour as part of the Autumn Tour of Homes. 

Event Details: 

  • Advance reservations are strongly encouraged for this tour. 
  • Interior photography is not permitted in the homes on this tour.
  • This tour is rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
  • All of the homes are within moderate walking distance of one another. Driving from house to house is not recommended. 

Ticket Pickup:

Your ticket will list all of the open homes, and include a map to guide you to each one. Pick up your ticket beginning at 12:30 PM on September 28 at St. John's-Grace Episcopal Church at 51 Colonial Circle.
