Seminar #8 in our 10-part Breast Cancer Wellness Seminar Series promises to be quite interesting. We will once again be hosted by our friends at Windsong Radiology, and the presentation will be given by Kay Dekker, RN, BSN. Kay is Windsong's Breast Care Coordinator, and she will be sharing her expertise in survivorship, individual care planning, resources for survivors, clinical trials, and research.

Join us at 6:30 PM on Thursday, December 7 at Windsong Radiology, 55 Spindrift Dr in Williamsville. Please register online or by calling (716) 706-0060. Light refreshments will be offered and there is plenty of free parking. 

Learn about developments in diagnostic and treatment options, as well as research programs from Windsong Breast Care Coordinator, Kay Dekker, RN, BSN.

Kay has been a Executive Nurse manager for over 25 years.  She attained her Bachelors in Nursing, with a Minor in Business and Marketing from Niagara University.  She has a diverse background – specializing in the fields of Developmental Disabilities, Assisted Living, Home Care, Hospice, and Breast Oncology. Kay’s expertise in operations, leadership development, business development, strategic planning, customer/employee satisfaction, and quality assurance bring a unique perspective to the breast care program.

Kay is active in her community, where she is a member of the following civic organizations:  Lockport Rotary Club and Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. She is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Niagara and past board member at Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara and the Niagara County Community Services Board. She also served on the following committees –  Erie County Alzheimer’s Association and Niagara County Community College Alumni Committee.  In 2012 she was recognized in Business First Who’s Who in Healthcare.

Kay is the Breast Care Coordinator at Windsong and works closely with the treatment team to ensure the highest standard of patient satisfaction, striving to continually improve services offered, she seeks and obtains new service options, provides community/provider education, and is committed to ensuring a positive patient experience at Windsong Breast Care.

This program will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.  Free parking is available in the Windsong parking lot, and light refreshments will be served.
