Lancaster Unleashed & Flying Bison Brewing Team Up for Dog Park

Fundraising Event Invites Dog Parents to “Take Your Dog Out for a Beer”!

Lancaster Unleashed, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to developing the Como Lake Bark Park, invites dogs and their well-behaved human families to partake of a fun-filled afternoon at dog friendly Flying Bison Brewing Company on Saturday, August 24th from 4-8pm.

The Take Your Dog Out for a Beer event will feature something of interest for all:

• TroyD Photography will offer professional photographic portraits of dogs (with or without their families) for only $15 per grouping with the proceeds benefiting Como Lake Bark Park
• Local vendors offering dog gifts, treats, and services, single batch gourmet chocolate, Buffalo-themed jewelry and unique made in Buffalo items
• 3 local Food Trucks: House of Munch, Maria’s Bene Cibo, and BabZ BBQ
• A basket raffle, featuring baskets from each of the vendors at the event
• A 50/50 Raffle throughout the event

“We are pleased to partner with Lancaster Unleashed in their effort to create a dog park in Como Lake Park. Flying Bison is proud to support this community endeavor and to be one of the most dog-friendly destinations in Buffalo,” said Tim Herzog, Founder of Flying Bison Brewing Company.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Lancaster Unleashed’s Bark for Your Park ongoing fundraising campaign. As previously announced, Lancaster Unleashed’s Dog Park will be located on 1.5 acres in Erie County’s Como Lake Park. The event is free, but donations will be accepted at the door.

Our Board of Directors will be present to answer questions about the dog park and how individuals can get involved. We hope many of our doggy friends will be able to attend!
