Blood is Blood battles the ban on gay and bi-sexual men donating blood. This fundraiser will underwrite the legal costs of forming a not-for-profit organization and 25% of proceeds will benefit The Paint Box Project at Roswell Park. Tickets are just $5 pre-sale and $8 at the door and include drinks, food, 2 raffle tickets, 1 baked good sample ticket, and entertainment by Buffalo Band Eclectic Soul.

The theme of the event is Valentine’s Day, and it will take place on Sunday, February 7th 2016 from 2:00 – 5:00pm at 3354 Delaware Avenue in Kenmore.

Cost of Admission: $5.00 pre-sale, $8.00 at the door. Tickets include: Drinks, food, 2 raffle tickets, 1 baked good sample ticket, and entertainment by Eclectic Soul. Extra raffle tickets will be available for purchase at $1.00 per ticket, or 20 tickets for $10.00.

In order to file for a non-profit organization with the IRS / government, the cost is roughly $950.00. Please help support our group raise the money needed to start the paperwork and educate the community on our cause and mission.

For those unaware, Blood is Blood is a movement started by Jordan Moll Vigrass against the long-term ban of gay and bi-sexual men donating blood. This movement has already managed to lift the ban; however, the discrimination in the law has yet to stop. With a deferral period for all sexually active homosexual/bisexual men, many lives will go unsaved as there are still people being pointlessly barred from donating.
