This summer multidisciplinary series includes musical acts, visual art installations, and poetry, bringing together the best of Buffalo’s arts and cultural community to interact with some of the most dynamic poets from Buffalo and beyond.

August 12th features:

Maggie Smith, author of three books of poetry: Good Bones (Tupelo Press, September 2017); The Well Speaks of Its Own Poison (Tupelo Press, 2015); and Lamp of the Body (Red Hen Press, 2005).

Annette Daniels Taylor, author of the poetry chapbooks, Street Pharmacist and other poetic tales, and Hush now poems to read aloud.

music by Bean Friend, composer and multi-instrumentalist.

dance by Nancy Hughes & Center Dance, educator, performer, choreographer and event organizer who co-facilitates regular events for contact improvisation and contemporary dancers.
