Get a little type-sy! Locally crafted gin, whiskey, rum and vodka tastings by local distilleries, gourmet food, beer & wine, live music, a silent art & basket auction and more, all at WNYBAC’s second annual Liquor & Letterpress. Participating distilleries include Black Squirrel Distillery, Lakeward Spirits, Niagara Distilling Company and Tommyrotter Distillery. The highlight of the evening are letterpress demos by WNYBAC volunteers and members. Guests are encouraged to participate and create an assortment of hand-printed ephemera to take home, including coasters, notebooks, posters, cards & more on our antique printing presses. Try your hand at the craft, and get a little type-sy with us!

After the last print has been pulled, guests can keep the party going at Raclettes, a Parisian-style bistro located just down the block at the corner of Main & Genesee. Liquor & Letterpress guests will enjoy BOGO beer & wine, drink specials, and a discount on food. 

Presale Tickets for the evening are $40 a person or $65 for a pair. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door at $45 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased online at wnybookarts.org/events, by calling 716-348-1430, or stopping in the WNYBAC gallery & shop, open Wednesday-Saturday 12-6pm. All proceeds benefit the Western New York Book Arts Center's mission to promote a greater understanding of printing and book-related arts through education, creation, and exhibition for a broad and diverse community.
