Mark your calendars! The theme of our Currents: Arts & Culture Discussion Series on is 'Preserving Local Landmarks' presented by Saladin Allah from the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area. Limited seating is available. Light refreshments will be served.

Learn about the compelling Prophet Isaiah’s Second Coming House, a vibrant home decorated from top to bottom with Prophet Isaiah Robertson’s colorful art!

Saladin Allah on Prophet Isaiah Robertson:  At the age of 12, Prophet Isaiah Robertson’s mother recognized that he was gifted. Growing up in a Christian household, he had a deep connection to spirituality, which encouraged him to become a carpenter as Christ was said to have been. In his late teens, the self-taught craftsman built a house in his native Jamaica. By the age of 24, he moved to Ontario, Canada, where he worked in construction for 33 years. He moved to Niagara Falls, NY, in 2004, at the age of 57, after learning about opportunities for home ownership and restoration. In 2004, he purchased a home at 1308 Ontario Avenue and received a prophecy to restore the property and make it a center piece for the second coming of Christ. He continued working on his house until his passing in 2020.

Cost: $10. Free for NU faculty, students, and staff, CAM Members, and EBT patrons. RSVP is required.

Currents is a moderated discussion series that aligns with trends in the art world through spirited discussions with the presenters.
