This month our CAM Meets presentation series invites you to experience Chadō—literally “The Way of Tea”—and learn about the meaning behind each step of a Japanese Tea Ceremony, the special form of floral arrangement (chabana), the unique lacquerware and pottery used, and the specific calligraphy (shodō) displayed within a traditional tea room (chashitsu).

Cost: $10/adult. $5/child and Members. Free for EBT cardholders and NU students.

ABOUT: CAM Meets is an engaging lecture series that provides space for learning about history and art making topics. The CAM invites diverse local artists, historians, and museum professionals to explore art through different perspectives.
