Over the past 19 years, Theatre in the Mist has become a premier amateur theater group, entertaining audiences as well as promoting our local communities through participation in festivals in Niagara and Erie Counties. Theatre in the Mist, Inc. has evolved from annual, Lenten passion plays performed at churches, into an independent, non-profit organization, based in the theater at Stella Niagara, N.Y.

Theatre in the Mist, Inc. has produced such notable plays as The Wizard of Oz, Nunsensations, Nunsens II An Inspector Calls, June Groom, Nunsense, Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs, Robert Fulghum’s A Uh-oh, Here Comes Christmas and All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, To Kill A Mockingbird, Wait Until Dark, The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and many more. We also produced works by local authors’ such as A.R. Gurney’s The Fourth Wall, Bruce David’s Aaron’s Story: A Passion Play, and Burt Erickson Nelson, A Festival in Jaytown. These are but a few of the outstanding performances in our long list.
