The Veterans One-stop Center invites all veterans and service members to join our free monthly Equine Therapy program at the Equi-Star Ranch in Burt, NY. Equine Therapy connects veterans with rehabilitated horses to promote self discovery, personal growth, and emotional health. Equine therapy has shown to be effective in treating patients, including combat veterans, with PTSD, depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorders and other chronic mental illnesses.
