In this Roald Dahl adventure, an orphan named Sophie is snatched from her bedroom window and whisked away by a Big Friendly Giant who gives dreams to children. Although he carries her far away to Giant Country, the loveable Giant means her no harm. Sophie and The BFG, together with Her Royal Highness Her Majesty the Queen, save the world from evil bone-slurping, flesh-gobbling giants who see small children as the ideal portable snack.
