Learn about the magical, amazing co-creation of Latin dance through the Diaspora. Transport yourself to the Caribbean and South America for a day, to learn about the various dances that were created when these two cultures came together.

Students learn the basic steps of several Latin dances with history included about the music and where these dances came from. We will discuss the timing of the dances within the rhythm of the music while practicing the basic steps. Students are also introduced to the language of Latin dancing through the body, the face and the music. Experience how the dancers and musicians are having a conversation with each other and everything around them through these amazing art forms.
