Since 1998, the band has enjoyed critical acclaim, by starring as 'Donny Dulce and Fusion', the "offbeat" Rock N' Roll Wedding Band in 'Tony N' Tina's Wedding' (the longest running comedy in Off-Broadway history). It has afforded them the chance to tour with the show, and perform in large venues and stadiums including Fort Meyers, Florida, the 2002 Winter Olympic Village in Salt Lake City, Utah, and most recently a very successful tour performance at the famed 'Crowne Plaza' in Montreal Quebec, Canada. Additionally, Sudden Urge has also spent several years starring as the Hilarious "Pillingham Minstrel Singers", in Actors Anonymous Theatre Company's Original Touring Musical/Comedy Production of; "The King & Queen's Royal Feast!"
In June of 2008, Sudden Urge enjoyed the honorable distinction of being hand picked to perform at the ‘Mayor’s Reception’, which immediately followed the Unveiling Ceremony of the Matt Urban memorial monument in Downtown Buffalo, NY. This event paid tribute to Buffalo native Matt Urban, who (to date) is the most decorated war hero in American History! The band’s performance was televised, and enjoyed by thousands of Western New York television viewers.
