Discrete moments in time and space inspire the gaze of JP, lead singer of the NYC indie rock band, herMajesty. "Days Turn to Nights" and “Crystals” the band’s two latest singles tell stories of love, loss, isolation, hopelessness, and faith. Ghosts from the past merge with present and surge forth through a wall of indie art post psychedelia. Their generous and magical spirit is conveyed through the imagery of the lyrics, swirling keyboard lines, lush orchestral arrangements and exotic male vocals. Complementing the hypnotic aesthetic of these two songs is the psychedelic guitar work of Jody Porter from Fountains of Wayne.

On the forfront of musical evolution, Optic Oppression wields production as an instrument in itself. Combining influences ranging from Stabbing Westward to Nine Inch Nails, Linkin Park to Orgy, Optic Oppression walks the now shattered line between the analog and digital worlds. With a dark electronic writing style that has been described as "innovative" and "more than industrial", Optic Oppression’s new EP, Find A Way, seeks to grasp the cutting-edge and carve out a niche of it's own in a musical world where it seems everything has been done before.
