Experience wine & food pairing on the Niagara Wine Trail over two weekends. Taste a different sample paired perfectly with a wine at each winery. Explore half of the trail each weekend.

Tickets include a tasting of 3 wines and one sample of cuisine at 11 wineries each weekend, and a commemorative wine glass from your first winery.

April 16-17 Participating wineries:

A Gust of Sun Winery Ransomville:

Pulled pork tacos from Pig Kings BBQ with a pickled slaw made by Pickle Annie’s. Pick your slaw flavor to pair with the wine of your choice! Both vendors will be onsite. Pig Kings will be selling sandwiches and Pickle Annie’s will have delicious pickles to sample and take home.

BlackBird Cider Works:

Pairing ciders with BBQ from Barker Brewing. Serving pulled pork on a baguette and Barker Brewing mac and cheese.

Black Willow Winery:

Black Cherry balsamic goat cheese mousse on endive topped with crispy prosciutto. Paired with our Cabernet Franc, Trilogy Red, Riesling, and Black Widow Berry wines.

Chateau Niagara Winery:

Beef Bruschetta paired with Pinot Noir.

Honeymoon Trail Winery:

Tortellini w/sauce paired with Rieslings.

Long Cliff Winery & Vineyards:

Swedish Meatballs from Garlock’s restaurant in Lockport, paired with 2012 Lemberger.

Midnight Run Wine Cellars:

Sweet Barbecued Pulled Pork on a light biscuit paired with Diamond.

Niagara Landing Wine Cellars:

Lobster Bisque, Mini Maple Ham Sliders, Vegetable Compote, Assorted Desserts.

The Winery at Marjim Manor:

Warm Fruit Compote made with my Cherry Concerto wine (a Passover favorite!).

Schulze Vineyards & Winery:

Sausage and German potato salad on a skewer by Cream and Sugar Café. Wines to pair with this are (Dry) Siegfried Reserve, (SemiDry) Riesling, (Sweet) Thirty Mile Point Niagara.

Victorianbourg Wine Estate:

A savory chorizo and grilled eggplant torta from Cream and Sugar Bakery in Lockport, paired with Seyvonnay, our unique proprietary Chardonnay and Seyval Cuvé.

April 23-24 Participating wineries:

810 Meadworks:

“Ghost of Mary” cocktail made with the Royal Squeeze (mango/ghost pepper mead) and garnished with bacon and pickled asparagus.

A Gust of Sun Winery Spencerport:

Serving Fazool’s tortellini and white sauce paired with Three & Sweet Westies White Wines.

Arrowhead Spring Vineyards:

Cool Terroir Red Wine meets Mediterranean sunshine in this delightful pairing with D’Avolio’s Olive Oils!

Enjoy a taste of fresh bread dipped into Tuscan Herbed oil – a delicious blend of herbs, sun-dried tomatoes and garlic infused olive oil. A perfect pairing of fine “Cool Terroir” wine and delicious olive oil!

Eveningside Vineyards:

Flight of Five Winery:

Mini Italian Beef Sandwiches paired with Canawler Red.

Freedom Run Winery:

Ceviche Cocktail – Kick off Spring and liven up your kitchen table with this crowd pleaser!

This colorful appetizer is made up of fresh herbs and vegetables, marinated with a savory blend of lime juice, cilantro and white balsamic vinegar. Pair it with Freedom Blue, semi-dry Riesling.

Lake Ontario Winery:

Lake Ontario Vignoles and Semi-dry Cider both paired with our Apple/Pear Gorganzola Pizza.

Leonard Oakes Estate Winery:

Nana’s mini taco made with her special recipe, roasted red pepper, turkey, and extra virgin olive oil.

Vizcarra Vineyards:

Lomo Saltado Empanada (a Peruvian dish) paired with our Paso Fino wine.

Hours: Saturday 10am-5pm and

Sunday 12pm-5pm

Price:

Single weekend $25/person advance online, $30/person at wineries during event

Both weekends $40/person advance online, $45 at wineries during event

Advance ticket sales end at:

9pm 4/14/16 for Week 1, and

9pm 4/21/16 for Week 2.

Tickets do not include transportation. A list of suggested companies may be found here. A valid photo ID with proof of age is required to participate in wine tasting. Please have your ID ready upon arrival. Designated drivers and nondrinker attendees are welcome at the wineries at no charge.
