Amelia Veitch and Austin Reese, seniors at the University of Buffalo, received a grant from Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW), a national organization that provides grants to students to help them build sustainable solutions to local issues. As their project, which combines design, engineering and building, they have decided to build an eco-friendly, wheelchair friendly garden, and their building it on the grounds of Buffalo Center.

You’re invited to join the Buffalo Center family and our friends and neighbors to watch Amelia and Austin complete their project. The facility will be open to all on Saturday, April 28th from 1 pm – 3 pm. Enjoy complimentary refreshments, meet Amelia, Austin and the rest of their family, and watch as they complete the transformation of an under-used piece of land into a sustainable, wheelchair friendly garden for the enjoyment of everyone.

Snack and refreshments will be provided.

The public is invited out on Saturday April 28th from 1:00- 3:00pm at Buffalo Center.
