As a former U.S. Congressman, Higgins represented Western New York in Washington for nearly two decades. A lifelong Buffalonian and champion for regional revitalization, Higgins will reflect on his journey from the Buffalo Common Council to Capitol Hill, and on the people, projects, and principles that shaped his public service.

From advocating for the redevelopment of Buffalo’s waterfront to strengthening the Great Lakes region and securing federal investments in local infrastructure and health research, Higgins has left a lasting mark on the city he calls home.
