Join us for Eye to Eye's Buffalo Learn Different Day!

Participants will be split into parent and student groups: Students will attend an “art room” focused on social-emotional art projects, fostering a partnership with a college/high school students, Mentors, who have a similar learning and attention issue. Programming is directed at students aged 10-14, but fun for all ages!

While students attend an art room lead by mentors, parents are able to join an important afternoon featuring a panel discussion with experts in the learning and attention issue field!

At the end of the day, families will be brought together to discuss their experiences. Parents gain a new and hopeful perspective on how they and their student view their learning difference. Students explore how to become empowered; they learn about the opportunities for support, are encouraged to understand how they learn and become able to self-advocate for their own metacognition.

Kick off the exciting weekend with “Being You,” a documentary that follows three young people with learning and attention issues as they travel the country to seek advice from TV host Howie Mandel, ice sculptor John Rodrigues, and many more!
