The Dyke March is hosted, in partnership, by the Pride Center of WNY and Dyke March Buffalo.
The Dyke March is a chance for our community to be seen. This year, for the first time, we are marching on Grant St.—a great location for us because of its neighborhood renaissance, its prevalence of women business owners, and the opportunity it gives for us to be visible to our sisters who are immigrants.

On June 6, we will gather at 4 p.m. at Potomac and Grant. At 5 p.m., we step off or roll off, and begin our march south on Grant Street to Lafayette and then east on Bidwell. Marchers should feel free to join the one mile stretch, meet up anywhere along the route, or meet us at our final destination. The march will end at our tent in Bidwell Park, where we’ll have poetry and acoustic music. We’ll also have a memorial to honor the members of our dyke community who have left us. We invite you to bring photos or other mementos of your loved ones to include.

The tent is appropriate for all ages. Betty Croski’s Food Truck will be there providing her delectable dishes.

Please help us to diminish access barriers at the march and continue to work to make the march more accessible. If you have feedback, questions, or suggestions, or want to volunteer or help organize around access, or have specific access needs, please email bflodykemarch2015@gmail.com.

DYKE MARCH BUFFALO

We march to celebrate our love and passion for women and for all dykes. We welcome and support all those who are questioning and challenging gender constructs and the social norms for women in this world. As Buffalo Dykes, we remember our herstory, and are committed to the evolving needs and desires of our community. We are strong womyn with a passion for justice and inclusivity. We want to work and celebrate in coalition with all communities, including those who struggle due to their size, race, sexuality, gender, legal status, presentation, culture, age, socio-economic status, location, profession, ability, disability or spirituality. We recognize that all dykes are different and
