Discover the hidden glyphs within Buffalo’s Radial Street Grid, and Integrated Parks System.  The art and science of placing secret images in urban landscape designs comes from ancient times.  Joseph Ellicott, the Founder of Buffalo, NY, worked on the Survey of Washington D.C., shortly before designing Buffalo’s Radial Street Grid (1799).  About seventy years later, Frederick Law Olmsted designed one of the most sophisticated enchanted landscapes in the world, within Buffalo’s Integrated Parks System.  Prior to the European settlement, Buffalo-Niagara was at the center of the proto-Iroquois culture, and here, stories and legends reveal the deep significance of this crossroads in that primordial wilderness.  Please join us for more exciting details.
