This month marks four years of serving up healthy, delicious lunches for Big Big Table Community Café, a unique pay-as-you-can lunchtime restaurant in the lower West Side / Allentown neighborhood. The nonprofit restaurant offers farm-to-table lunches, in a welcoming community space.

October 11th marks Big Big Table’s opening anniversary. The community is invited to celebrate this milestone at the upcoming Big Big Bash event, Friday October 17th at Riff City Social. This is a ticketed event, raising funds to support Big Big Table’s mission while celebrating its diverse community. The evening will feature appetizers by Riff City Social, artisan Blue Table chocolates, games with prizes, basket raffle, live fusion jazz music performed by Luminous, and the chance to win a football signed by Bills player #47 Christian Benford.

Big Big Table Community Café, Inc. is a nonprofit café dedicated to providing restaurant quality meals to Everybody who comes in for lunch. Our mission is to provide a dignified response to hunger in our community, providing Buffalo with accessible and affordable nutritious meals, regardless of how the diner chooses to contribute. We are located at the corner of Hudson and West (272 Hudson Street), open weekdays 11am – 2:30pm, serving delicious pay-as-you-can lunches promoting food accessibility and nutritional equity for our diverse guests. Big Big Table opened to the public in 2021 and is now part of Buffalo’s food safety-net, serving 6,000+ nutritious meals a year.
