Entering its fourth year of operation, The Neil and Barbara Chur Family Gallery is located in the Roycroft Power House and offers a venue for artists to showcase their work that is steeped in the tradition of head, heart and hand craftsmanship. The Roycroft Campus is pleased to welcome Cassandra Boyd to the Chur Gallery for her exhibition, "The Lady of the House," opening on February 24th.

Cassandra is a multimedia fine art painter and Artist-in-Residence at the Roycroft Campus. Her art invites us into a world where familiar subjects are transformed into emotionally resonating experiences and objects of power. Through Cassandra's interest in dream symbolism, she explores the hidden places between worlds and liberates the dynamic of enchantment.

“The Lady of the House,” Cassandra’s new works in oil, are alive and intoxicating. Her seductive portraits, dreamscapes, and still-lifes transport the viewer into the realms of curious drawing rooms and charmed places.

There will be an opening reception on Saturday, February 24th from 6-9pm and the exhibit will run from February 25th – April 20th, 2018, free and open to the public daily from 10am - 5pm.
