Celebrate Earth Day this April 22 at the Buffalo Museum of Science. With hands on activities throughout the Museum and local student artwork, this is a learning experience you won’t want to miss!

In cooperation with Erie County Department of Environment and Planning as a part of their “Pollution Prevention Through Art” project, selected student artwork made entirely from plastic bags will be on display in the Museum through the month of May. The project aims to make the connection between litter, storm water and plastic pollution through the use of art. Also on display will be nine rain barrels painted and submitted by students from Western New York schools, sponsored by the WNY Stormwater Coalition. This is an incredible opportunity to learn about and share your thoughts concerning the amount of plastic we use daily and the effect it has on the environment.

It is also the last day that digiPlay Space will be open! Make sure to come in and enjoy the amazing experience from the Toronto International Film Festival before this traveling exhibit closes!
