Buffalo Celebrates 150 Years of Frank Lloyd Wright

In partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and other local organizations in the Buffalo area, our events are designed to engage the WNY community with Wright’s legacy through education and entertainment for all ages and levels of interest.
150 hours of consecutive events and programming surrounding the date of Wright's birth, June 8.
Monday, June 5:
Martin House: Launch of Wright at 150 lecture series
Barry Bergdoll, Columbia University

Graycliff: Larkin Company Picnic Revisited
A re-creation of the Larkin Company picnics held a century ago in the Town of Evans. 5:30 - 8:30pm

Wednesday, June 7:
Martin House: D-I-Y Design Day
A day to appreciate design! Design stations and demonstrations throughout the day.
Design your own flower arrangement with Nellie Gardner 11am - 2pm
Barrel Chair and Japanese Print exhibit 12 - 3pm
Crafty cocktail event with The Dapper Goose 4-7pm

24 Hours of Graycliff!
A blitz of birthday events - camp out, campfire, night sky viewing, catered breakfast, and morning walk on Lake Erie beach.

Saturday, June 10:
Martin House: Family Fun Day
A day of play!
Family Tours offered all day. Design, architecture, and landscape themed activities and games on-site all day. Snacks, refreshments, Ted's Hot Dogs food truck will be on site.
Enjoy live music by The Observers and the Amherst High School Jazz Band, and little ones can learn yoga from Yoga Parkside.

Sunday, June 11:
Martin House and Graycliff: Heard Around Buffalo
Tune in and hang out! Live music at Graycliff, Roycroft Campus, and Martin House.
BW's BBQ at Martin House with live music performed by the Colored Musicians Club.
