Join us for our 3rd Annual Buffalo BookFest on Saturday, August 9th from 11-5pm! This event is FREE and open to the public. The festival features an artists' market and a complete schedule of outdoor and indoor adult and kid-friendly hands-on demos of the Book Arts, including steamroller printmaking!

Day-Long Schedule of FREE Book Arts Demonstrations including:

• ALL DAY Steamroller printmaking – Heavy Metal meets Big Wood!

• 11am - 1pm -- Letterpress Demos (WNYBAC studio)

• 1pm - 3pm -- Louts Books (WNYBAC upstairs)
• 1pm - 3pm -- Drypoint Monotyping (WNYBAC studio)
• 1pm - 3pm -- Signpainting (outside)
• 1pm - 3pm -- Dragon Books for kids (outside)

• 3pm - 5pm -- Paper Shadow Puppets (WNYBAC upstairs)
• 3pm - 5pm -- Screen printing (WNYBAC studio)
• 3pm - 5pm -- Lunchbag Bookbinding (outside)


Artist’s Market:

Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase locally handmade goods including hand-bound books, letterpress prints, small press publications, and loads of handmade crafty items! The market will be held on the ground floor of the Western New York Book Arts Center.
