We’re hitting the pumpkin-everything time of year. Hell, we’ve passed it. Pumpkin ales are omnipresent, every local beer and grocery store is working overtime to keep Souther Tier’s beloved Pumking on the shelves, and here I am with more Pumpkin stuff for you. But this one’s different. This one’s special.

We’re talking about a DIY Pumpkin Keg here, people. This is the true king of “pumpkin stuff.” But don’t just take my word for it. Look at the pictures above and below, follow the instructions on how to make your own Pumpkin Keg, and see for yourself. Deal? Okay, let’s do this.

Pouring from the Pumpkin keg

Here’s what it takes: Our Pumkin Tap Keg Kit, a sharp knife, a spoon, any ordinary pumpkin, and the beer, cider, or cocktail of your choice, to serve in your pumpkin keg.

Step 1: Cut a lid from the top, and scoop out all of the pumpkin pulp and seeds. Keep the top aside.

Step 2: Cut a hole slightly smaller than the shank that comes with the kit, and attach your faucet.

Step 3: Fill the pumpkin with the drink of your choice, put the lid back on top, and enjoy!
