A Mic Night. A Showcase. An Opportunity to Connect with Publishers! 

This event was developed to expose authors, poets, playwrights, and other creative writers to various publishers in the Buffalo area through a performative networking event. This event functions similar to an open mic night, but with a little more structure. Your audience will be organized to include a mixture of publishers, writers, and general audience members. 

Writers who would like to be featured in the Publisher's Mic Night performance should email us by following the rules and guidelines below. GBP will build a schedule for the night based on the submissions we receive on a first come, first served basis. You are encouraged to mingle and discuss your work during the event reception, which will take place in the ART lounge outside the theater.  

• Accepted Works: Fiction, Nonfiction, Microfiction, Journalism, Memoir, Biography, Photography/Visual Art, Poetry, Graphic Novel, Monologue.
