Celebrate the act of creating and make art with us on Make Art Day, March 6! Now in its second year, Make Art Day (6x6MAD) encourages people across the globe to gather with friends, family, and coworkers to make art that will be exhibited in 6x6, the international small art phenomenon hosted by Rochester Contemporary Art Center. Like a community reads initiative, Make Art Day celebrates one day where organizations, businesses, schools, and families foster and support the making of small artworks prior to each artwork being exhibited at Rochester Contemporary Art Center's 6x6x2020 exhibition in June.

Our goal is to have 1,000 people make a 6x6 artwork all across Rochester on March 6!
