New Era Field in Orchard Park will welcome the 22nd annual Drums Along the Waterfront — Tour of Champions, Western New York’s premier “music in motion” event, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. 

This year’s incredible lineup will feature nine of the top drum corps in the world, including: 
• Bluecoats, Canton, OH
• Blue Stars, La Crosse, WI
• Blue Knights, Denver, CO
• Boston Crusaders, Boston, MA
• Carolina Crown, Fort Mill, SC
• The Cavaliers, Rosemont, IL
• Colts, Dubuque, IA
• Mandarins, Sacramento, CA
• Phantom Regiment, Rockford, IL

Tickets for “Marching Music’s Major League” event are now available and are priced from $29 to $55. Tickets for children 12 and under are half price, and discounts are also available for seniors, military and groups. To purchase tickets, please visit www.DrumsAlongTheWaterfront.org. Parking at the event is free and lots will open at 3 p.m. Stadium gates will open at 5 p.m.

Additionally, Rhythm at the Rapids, a prelude to the annual Drums Along the Waterfront — Tour of Champions event, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Niagara Falls High School Stadium, 3978 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, N.Y. Presented by the Niagara Falls City School District in cooperation with Drums Along the Waterfront and sanctioned by Drum Corps International (DCI), six of the top drum corps in DCI’s Open Class will compete for the “Rhythm at the Rapids” title. Participating in the Niagara Falls event will be the 7th Regiment of New London, CT; Legends of Kalamazoo, MI; Southwind of Mobile, AL; Spartans of Nashua, NH; Heat Wave of Cape Coral, FL; and Les Stentors of Sherbrooke, QC.
