Monday, September 25

9:15 –9:45 am - ASL Storytelling & Change, an ASL music video

10:00am - Students will present officers with donated K-9 vests

Tuesday, September 26

WKBW-TV Channel 7 - ASL interpretation of newscasts all day

9:30 am-10:30 am - Calvin Young, Seek the World Interaction with Elementary students

12:30 – 1:00 pm or 2:30 – 3:00 pm - Staff Workshop for Elementary and MS/HS Teachers

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm - Presentation with MS/HS students

Deaf Awareness Week KICK-OFF:

6:00 pm– 8:00 pm at the Galleria Mall / (Located near the Apple Store)

Kickoff Speeches by Elected Officials, as well as ASL Performance by Students from St. Mary's School for the Deaf, Mini ASL Workshops by Deaf Access Services, a presentation by Calvin Young, deaf travel blogger from Seek the World.

Wednesday, September 27

10:00 – 11:30 am, 1:00 – 2:30 pm and by appointment  - TOUR SMSD MUSEUM

11:30 – 12:00 pm or 12:00 – 12:30 pm - Silent Lunch with SMSD Staff

12:00 – 1:00 pm - James the Ice Creamcycle Dude (Playground)

6:00 – 8:00 pm - Explore Buffalo Tour of St. Mary’s School for the Deaf

2:00 pm - Grade School Soccer vs RSD

3:30 pm - Boys Varsity Soccer vs Falk and Girls Varsity Volleyball vs Aurora games

6:00 – 8:00 pm - Annual Awards Dinner at The Fairdale Banquet Center

2:00 – 3:00 pm - Alumni Panel: Randee Pascall-Speights,’99, Jim Craig,’58, Darleen Watsan,’68,Gordon Marillo’79, Peter Skarp,’87
