Crown Conscious is a progressive metal band from Boston, MA. Crown Shyness: a phenomenon observed in some tree species, in which the crowns of fully stocked trees do not touch each other, forming a canopy with channel-like gaps.

We are Crown Conscious, taking our band name from this strange phenomenon as we felt it fit our "strange" approach to music. We are Daniel Balter (Vocals/Guitar), Ruslan Mamedov (Vocals/Bass), Ben Tavares (Guitar), and Peter Myhalenko (Drums)
