Dirty Smile

Dirty Smile is a rockpopsoul outfit from the heart of rust belt realness, Buffalo, NY. If there was ever a band named ‘Fleetwood Zeppelin’, they would have to change their name to ‘Dirty Smile’. Armed with a batch of honest songs and an infectious energy, Dirty Smile stands resolute in its pursuit of rock-n-roll greatness.

The band’s hometown breeds a blue collar ethic that seeps into the music. It’s palpable. They’ve put in the hours on the sweaty stages of Buffalo, NY, the Western New York region, and New York City honing their craft. Dirty Smile has also cut their teeth on the national stage. Supporting the grammy award winning and multi-platinum Weezer, and emo greats Brand New at 103.3 WEDG Edgefest. They’ve played the Hard Rock Cafe’s New Year’s Eve Guitar Drop with hard rockers Theory of a Deadman and shared the stage with country star Craig Morgan. Directly supported classic rocker Dennis DeYoung of Styx, as well as Canadian indie punk rock legends the Lowest of the Low, and yet another Canadian great, The Tea Party for New Year’s Eve 2016.

The energy of their live performance leaps from the bandstand with grand enthusiasm. It’s difficult to ignore the vibrant, free flowing presence of Megan Brown at the microphone. Erik Eimiller, Jesse Raderman, Mike Suda, and Gus Walters form the adept band behind Brown that sounds seasoned beyond its years; dynamic and intense with a rock soul.

Legendary Canadian songwriter and performer Ron Hawkins (Lowest of the Low, The Rusty Nails, Do Good Assassins) mixed and mastered Dirty Smile’s debut EP entitled “Love Songs for the Damned: Volume I” (2014), and produced their latest dual single effort, released in November of 2015.

Dirty Smile won the Regional Hard Rock Rising 2014 competition (including Western, NY, St. Catherines, ON, and Erie, PA) which vaulted them into the Global battle. The Global Hard Rock Rising competition saw Dirty Smile finish in the top 3 out of 10,000 world-wide hopefuls. The momentum from the Hard Rock Rising competition continues still, and has seen the band make many TV, Radio, and New Media appearances. They’re 2016 recipients of Artvoice’s Best of Buffalo Award for Best Original Music Act.

Dirty Smile is Megan Brown (Vocals), Erik Eimiller (Drums), Jesse Raderman (Guitar), Mike Suda (Bass), Gus Walters (Guitar)

Half Animal

HALF ANIMAL is a 4-piece Indie/Alternative rock group, comprised of members Brian Miller (vocals/guitar), Aaron Anson (lead guitar), Alex Mowrey (bass), and Adam Schroeder (drums). The band is a mix of musicians from different walks and previous musical backgrounds, citing a wide array of musical influences, from Goldfinger to The Smashing Pumpkins, and Modest Mouse to Jimi Hendrix, with a notable influence from classic hip-hop artists as well. This array has rounded Half Animal’s sound into one described by listeners as “impossible to pigeon-hole… something truly original and captivating.” The band released a 3 track EP in March of 2016, in collaboration with John Burke of Vibe Studios in Cleveland. Recently, the band was nominated as a finalist for “Best New Band” in the Artvoice Best Of Buffalo competition.
