Lent 2020: An Invitation to Listen, a Lenten parish mission with Fr. Kenneth Paulli, OFM, a Franciscan priest of Holy Name Province for nearly 30 years, will take place at 7 p.m. March 23-25 at the Church of the Annunciation, 7580 Clinton St., Elma.

A member of the First Year Seminar faculty, as well as an associate professor of education at Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y., Fr. Paulli is a popular speaker at conferences, retreats and parish missions across the United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Siena College, a master’s degree in systematic theology from the Washington Theological Union, and a doctorate in religion and education from New York City’s Columbia University.

Fr. Paulli’s three-day mission will include the following discussions:

• Monday, March 23: As we journey with Mary this Lent, do you hear that, with God, we need not fear?

• Tuesday, March 24: As we journey with Mary this Lent, do you hear that, with God, all things are possible?

• Wednesday, March 25: As we journey with Mary this Lent, do you hear that it's about God's will, not yours? Will include Mass for the Feast of the Annunciation.

Each evening will conclude with a reception, where Fr. Paulli will sign copies of his first book, Outside the Walls: Encountering God in the Unfamiliar.

The Annunciation event is free and open to the public; a free will offering would be appreciated to help defray expenses.
