You and your boat are invited to the Scajaquada Canoe Club's 3rd annual Lantern Parade on Hoyt Lake in Delaware Park at sunset on Saturday, August 15. This is the third annual recreation of the historic Lantern Parade held in August, 1906. Plan to launch along the shore of Hoyt Lake between the bridge and Marcy Casino around 8:00pm There is a full moon, but all boats should have lights - use your imagination! Japanese lanterns suspended from poles, glow sticks...all work. Be part of the tradition.
