"Boom Days" is the region's grassroots celebration of the advent of spring, commencing each year with the lifting of the Lake Erie-Niagara River ice boom. "Boom Days" commemorates the Niagara region's bustling waterways of days gone by, glorifies our natural, artistic and cultural wealth, and thanks our strong winter.

Throughout the day there will be family-friendly activities, live music, food trucks and beer. In the evening, we vent a winter's worth of pent-up energy and party! Join us at the Perot Grain Elevator and Malt House in Silo City for a fireworks display by WNY Skylighters, plenty of food and beverages, and a great party!.

Come join us for this eclectic celebration, as Western New York raises a toast to the removal of the ice boom, and the passing of winter!
