CEPA Gallery is pleased to announce the 2017 CEPA Gallery Members' Exhibition. This year's exhibition will open on Friday, January 27, 2017. 

Also opening January 27:
Lingxiang Wu -"A Modern Falneur's Possession"
David Jaan - "I See People"

"Exterior Views: The Richardson Olmsted Complex"

Submissions will be accepted from Wednesday, January 18 - Saturday January 21, 2016.

CEPA Gallery's 2017 Members' Exhibition features the photography and photo-related work of some of our most talented members regionally, nationally, and internationally. All current, new, and renewing CEPA Members are invited to participate in the upcoming 2017 CEPA Gallery Members' Exhibit.

- Each member may submit one (1) piece of photography or photo- 
related art (including printmaking, video, computer-based, and 
light-based) for inclusion in the exhibit (max dim. 30in x 40in).
- All work should be matted and/or framed and ready to hang
- All work should be labeled with the artist's name, title, process, 
date, and sales price.

WORK MAY BE DROPPED OFF STARTING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18 AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH JANUARY 21ST DURING THE FOLLOWING HOURS:
WED. 1/18 FROM 10A - 5P
THUR. 1/19 FROM 10A - 8P
FRI. 1/20 FROM 10A - 5P
SAT. 1/21 FROM 10A - 4P
WORK MAY BE SHIPPED BEGINNING IMMEDIATELY.

ALL HAND SUBMITTED WORK IS DUE AT CEPA BY SATURDAY, JANUARY 21, 2017 BY 4PM. 

ALL SHIPPED WORK MUST BE RECIEVED MONDAY, JANUARY 23, 2017.

Select work will be exhibited on CEPA's website. For artists who wish to have their work sent back to them, returns will only be made via US Postal Service or FedEx. The artists will be responsible for all shipping and handling related costs.

THE 2017 CEPA MEMBERS' EXHIBITION AWARDS
Two solo exhibition awards recognizing those artists who demonstrate an elevated level of artistic maturity and skill in their work will be given by a special guest juror (TBA). The guest juror will determine the awards based primarily on the physical work submitted to the exhibit. After a shortlist has been created, the juror will have the opportunity to consult the shortlisted portfolios.

THE WINNERS WILL RECEIVE A SOLO EXHIBIT OF THEIR WORK IN 2018.

To be considered for an award, artists must submit the following materials along with their Members Exhibit submission:
-10 images formatted as JPEG's and sized to 1500px in the largest 
dimension labeled Last Name, First, & Image # (ex. 
Smith_John_01.jpg)
-An image script that includes Titles, Year, and Physical Dimensions
-An artist statement (500 words max)
-An artist cv

This facet of the Members' Exhibit is open to all artists as an option, and does not affect regular submissions to the exhibit.
