Horizons Gallery will feature Fritz Proctor, Jan. 15 through March. The exhibition showcases a journey through memory.

“The best way to look at my paintings is to look at them through a lens in which vague memories exist,” said Proctor. “My paintings are investigations of memory through the marriage of abstraction and representation.”

This exhibition seeks to make the viewer think deeper about the concept of memory.

The free exhibition at Horizons Gallery is open weekdays from 9 am to 4:30 pm. The public is also invited to an artists’ reception 5 to 7 pm, Friday, Feb. 1. The gallery is located in the WNED Studios at 140 Lower Terrace (at Charles Street), next to the Buffalo Grand Hotel in downtown Buffalo; Tel.: (716) 845-7000. Free parking is available in WNED | WBFO’s lot.
