CreativeMornings/Buffalo is a free breakfast event, held on the second Friday of every month. We are one of over 160 cities in the world to host a free breakfast and speaker to share their story related to creativity on a rotating theme. Our aim is to better connect, intersect, and celebrate our striking creative community. We hope it’ll serve as an environment for mindful people of diverse disciplines to gather and grow together, sharing with each other and in turn, with other cities.

For May, the CreativeMornings community all over the world will speak to the theme #CMserendipity. Here in Buffalo, visual artist Andrea Wenglowskyj will share her story at BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York with in-house breakfast & coffee.

Andrea Wenglowskyj is a visual artist and commercial photographer based in Buffalo by way of Rochester, New Paltz, Boston, Paris, Kyiv and Brooklyn. She also co-founded DELVE, an educational and coaching platform that helps artists and creatives tell their unique stories and establish a clear, genuine and powerful presence in the world. Her photography-based art work explores ideas of home and belonging, collectivity, and the responsibility to maintain or break tradition, rule, and ritual—especially to understand the power and motivations of a collective group. Each of her projects is sparked by a personal connection to a location or event, often part of her past or Ukrainian-American heritage. She has worked with Storefront for Art and Architecture, the UBS Art Collection, and is a Fulbright grant recipient. She has her Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
