Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, bringing with it the official start of grilling season/unofficial beginning of summer here in WNY.

This is our tenth go at FMF, and we've got a solid line up for you.

So while you're out enjoying the beautiful weekend, and getting the grill fired up, take some time to #vibewithus.

Slaughterhouse - House Rules
After hinting at a new music drop for weeks via twitter, Slaughterhouse finally released their House Rules mixtape to hold fans down until the release of their upcoming LP, Glass House.  The project is 10 tracks long, and without any guest features; with each of the groups 4 members gets a song to themselves to shine. Radio rap not lyrical enough for you?  Check it out here.

The New Math - Origin
A few years back the rapper/producer team of Dem One and B.O.O.K.S. One formed The New Math and released a self-titled record.  The 8 track EP showcased plenty of potential but, at just over 22 minutes, was extremely short, leaving listeners unfulfilled and wanting more.  The duo has finally released some new material, and their new project, Origins, is as conceptually dope as it is ambitious.  According to Dem One, “The premise for ‘Origin’ was what if a producer and emcee of today traveled back in time to the early 90’s and made a demo tape to try to warn the world of what lie ahead in the future.”  You can stream/download at the group's bandcamp.

Freddie Gibbs & DJ Fresh - The Tonite Show
Fresh off the success of Pinata, his critically acclaimed collaboration with Madlib, Freddie Gibbs has teamed up with DJ Fresh for The Tonite Show.  The project is the 31st in an ongoing series by DJ Fresh in which he collabs with a different artist and is available for stream here.

Curren$y & Le$ - Overwit/The Roll Out
Spitta dropped a couple new tracks, this time teaming up with Le$.  "The Roll Out" finds the two freestyling on the classic Outkast track, "Ova Da Wudz," and "Overwit" features production from Cardo.

**Bonus** Quasimpleecious
This gem right here is a playlist of songs that have been sampled by Madlib's alter ego, Quasimoto.  It contains track after track of R&B, funk, jazz and blues classics.  Wanna impress some old heads at that Memorial Day cookout?  Throw some of these tracks on and watch them marvel at your musical sensibilities while simultaniously scorning your youth.  You can stream it if you have spotify, if not, make sure you download it here.
