Buffalo United Artists (BUA) presents at Alleyway Theatre's Main Street Cabaret, Santa Claus Is Coming Out. The theatrical mock-u-mentary, is about the worldwide scandal surrounding the outing of Santa Claus. Writen by Jeffrey Solomon, directed by Christopher Standart, starring Timothy Patrick Finnegan it traces the intensely personal struggle of the great holiday icon.

Three actors from a theater troupe are fed up with performing another boring version of A Christmas Carol, so they spice things up by performing…EVERY Christmas story ever told. They mix in Christmas traditions from around the world, seasonal icons from ancient times to topical pop culture, and every carol ever sung. It’s a fast and furious, madcap romp through the holiday season.

The Santaland Diaries

Who needs Ebenezer Scrooge when you’ve got a lippy manchild in green tights and bells? RLTP launches a new Yuletide tradition with this limited engagement of author David Sedaris’ modern holiday classic Santaland Diaries. Infamous from its annual rotation on National Public Radio’s “This American Life,” this expanded theatrical monologue tracks David’s epic journey from an aimless existence as a snarky New York layabout (“twenty dollars away from walking dogs”) to a promising and only semi-humiliating seasonal career as a Macy’s department store elf.
